New Build – Boat PDI – A comprehensive boat Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) (EMS check sheet) ensures all systems function and the vessel constructed in accordance with the specification, contract and industry standards Being 100% ‘operational’ before handover.
Key areas to include (but not limited to) checking for any hull & deck issues, verifying engine & propulsion systems & performance, generator installation & operation, testing all electronics – navigation equipment, nav lights, bilge pumps etc, 12v / 24v DC electrics, inspecting steering and all control systems, fresh / grey water tankage and pipework installations, confirming fuel system integrity and conformity and ensuring all safety equipment (PFDs, fire extinguishers, life-rafts) are present.
